If those are the names of the three imprisoned in the background, they’re being held within speaking distance of one another and not too far from the Snob Goblin.
Considering the conspicuous placement of the word bubbles, I’m thinking you’re right. There’s probably just going to be one or two suspects on the list who aren’t already imprisoned.
Why convey a staterment of fact or opinion, or indeed, even a siupposition or exclamation, in the confines of a single brief sentence, when you have the facility to consume the total capacity of a panel’s speech bubble in its entireity.
Yes, it really looks like Alex has taken over some of LP’s stupidity. I love how she walked right past those three without noticing, and the old Alex would have known immediately what these villains have in common.
I actually like how they’re all imprisoned together. It might seem risky to put every villain with the same power set/source together, but that also means a single security type can be installed for that hallway.
Imagine making new cells for aquatic villains who can’t survive on land. It’s easier to just divide an aquarium or olympic swimming pool into its own prison system, than to convert a current cell into a merman tank every time a new inmate arrives.
Or how about using a separate temperature control to allow ice villains to be comfortable?
If each wing/hall is made to contain a power set comfortably, it shouldn’t matter how many of them are within.
So the front of the cell is a solid sheet of glass (or transparisteel or whatever)?
And, uhm, when the prisoner needs to use the facilities? Or get some food? Or air, for that matter – ‘course, vents can be small and hooked up to tranq-gas: “In case of riot – pass gas!”.
The Storyteller looks a little like Kain from the old DC stories.
They all tell stories to commit crime – DUH!

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and guess that Expositor, The Storyteller, and ScreenQueen are the three people they just walked past. In that order.

And the first guy just looks like he loves to tell his entire lifestory in detail.

Do you happen to be Mojo Jojo by any chance?
Not even if I knew what one was.

Never watched it.
Expositor has a brief cameo strip on narradium but I don’t think he appears again. The others are unknown.
I think both just failed a dozen spotchecks.

Don’t think this LP’s fault, remember she spends a lot of time around Buckaress’ twins, those temporarily lower IQ in short doses….
They must transfer the lost intelligence to Bucky, since she seems to be the only one here with a clue.
So other than the fact that they’re all locked up with each other in the same place… is the connection also that they’re all into narratives?

And there was that wing for guys called “spider” …
They could all also be super-annoying, given their names. So stick them together and they can talk to each other.
If only there was some hint in the name of the substance… ;-)
if only the wall doesn’t clue you into the fact that a prisoner is missing because his cell is missing
Let me guess – they’re all big fans of the old TV show “Tales From The Script”.

I’m pretty sure the culprit is none of those: she’s not in jail but in the asylum: http://superredundant.com/?comic=197-interuption
Even if the Expositor isn’t involved, you should talk to him anyway. Whatever he tells you is sure to be relevant.
