@airashi: I think that only happens when Good Girl sics her charged halo on an otherwise evil-doer; the halo then discharges into the evil-doer until it reaches some miminum level, then returns to her to charge up again.
In this case, she was unable to charge her halo (and was already basically Bad Good Girl), so getting Gyrognome to charge it wouldn’t have sent it back to her.
It’ll probably need to discharge into her for a time (possibly turning her into Very Good Girl), until it reaches the point where it needs to recharge again, and then everything’ll returns to relative normal.
@RBZ, I prefer to think of it that LP is so weak willed that the halo mind controlling him to carry it back was easier than it traveling back under its own power.
