I’m curious how this is going to play out. Time seems to be moving in the right direction, given that they can watch the news from the Prime time line.
So they are probably in a parallel time line only a few seconds removed from the prime timeline. But causality and space is partially twisted, as cause and effect can be reversed, and they can walk in circles while moving in a straight line. But can still get back to their home. as well as paradoxical time travel allowing temporal clones to just appear and talk to their counterparts.
The effect is also apparently global, if not galactic, or universal.
Space time appears to be becoming non-euclidean, with a saddle shaped foam structure, like a 6 dimensional sponge shaped quantum manifold, but on the macro scale, such that it’s affecting spacetime on the scale of meters and seconds.
combine into this the effects that even one instance of time travel into the past has on turning a singular timeline into a 14 branched branched multiverse, with 7 of those being Feathered incursions. Not forgetting to mention that’s based on the most minimal of quantum differences, and not taking into account the billions of realities birthed by any and every action and decision committed by literally every life form that has ever existed.
even if they do fix the timeline for the reality they are experiencing, there will always remain at least one reality, where the heroes never again reappear.
or where the problems they are experiencing, reformat the physics of the entire universe in to a non-euclidean nightmare.
One: Your comment has so many big words it has my mind still trying to grasp all those concepts.
Two: It reminded me of the script of The Cube 2: Hypercube
Cube 2 each room is a different time/parallel pocket universe happening simultaneously that will eventually collapse and resolve into one prime universe.
Non-euclidean gemoetry just means curved sides. H.P. Lovecraft was not only a racist, but he was also really good about being scared of stupid things. Freezers, ultraviolet light, and circles.
I don’t see which is the issue, guys: LP is the only one nerdy enough to know something at all about time travel. Just imagine Keith answering to this labyrinthine question: “sup, man, whatever, I’ll get another beer” or good/bad-good girl: “holy cow, Crhistmas in september!”
One thing is knowing something and another completely different is to understand it. I wonder how much meta info they are going to put into LP, because he seems to have evolved into a more competent hero due to being surrounded by incompetency (specially since Defendress has become less and less competent since we met her for the first time)
Yes, poor Alex. The LOSRHs’ incompetence seems to be affecting her more and more, even as the others seem to be getting better at what they do. Especially LP!)
I think Defendress just seems less competent than she was as a lone street hero with a few gadgets because she’s now trying and failing to handle things outside of her capabilities, while the rest of the LoSRHs were *already* incompetent.
LP might be familiar with general time travel ideas in the sense of having heard of them, but he’s still probably not able to handle them in any effective sense, except by accident.
Bad Good Girl is basically just Good Girl minus the halo. The whole reason she became Good Girl was because she was exorcised by mistake, and wasn’t actually evil to start with. So BGG is only “bad” relative to the enforced goodness and purity of GG, she’s not really “bad” in the sense of actually evil.
What do you have against Loki? Loki did nothing wrong and one day, it is prophesized, Loki and the fire giants will destroy those pesky totalitarian Aesir.
I love how LP has gotten smarter as this comic went on.
I was thinking the same thing. I think Mary Sue is rubbing off on him (no, not like that!) (well, maybe also that, but not what I meant)
Everyone’s safe now that the one and only Laser Pony is in the case. Might finally become competent enough to become Laser Stallion.
So… He’s got his eyes on the case?
He immediately sees through everything – or something similar.
LP is slowly becoming less and less L as time goes on.
Good question though. Is the bootstrap paradox in play or not.
Considering how stupid time travel plots and mechanics usually are… this is the time for the LoSRH to shine.
And nobody will notice, as usual…

A non-euclidean nightmare universe? You mean, like the one we live in?

yup non euclidean just means space and/or time can loop back and create loops in one or more directions
could also refer to having more than 3 dimensions of space.

LP is the only one who can grasp this.

According to you someone forgot to publish the lost chapter in which Alex’ brain was transferred to LP and vice versa, right?
I’m not sure if that’s the explanation but with a new “secondary origin story” solved.
Also why is Bad Good Girl still Good, sorta?
Bad Good Girl is basically just Good Girl minus the halo. The whole reason she became Good Girl was because she was exorcised by mistake, and wasn’t actually evil to start with. So BGG is only “bad” relative to the enforced goodness and purity of GG, she’s not really “bad” in the sense of actually evil.
She was still brawling and burning thigs for the sake of it not so long ago. She’s become more goodie as of late.
Will Our Heroes be capable of solving this situation?
Are they going to get Loki?
Find out next week, same LP-time, same LP-chan…err… site!
What do you have against Loki? Loki did nothing wrong and one day, it is prophesized, Loki and the fire giants will destroy those pesky totalitarian Aesir.
