Same way as a lot of real-world people. They don’t talk about it much, or she associates with her more as a sibling than a scientist, or it’s just been a stressful day.
All of the above sounds plausible. Plus she’s working with our dear league of super redundant heroes. They have a monthly allowance of brain cells between the lot of them.
i think they have forgotten that they can’t interact with anyone that is not a hero, hopefully a phone call will still work.
as they still are receiving the news on the tv
Major super hero teams vanishing makes the news because it is noticeable. they are a minor team and they are also gone.
their roommate Keith has not been shown during this current arc, the previous silhouettes were good girl and pony.
they have not ran into any non-hero characters in universe B.
Unless her sister is also a super hero, it’s unlikely they’ll be able to get her direct help. at best they might be able to find some time travel device by raiding her lab
LP has heard enough to know he wants none of this
How the hell do you forget something like that?

Lol!
“Little Brother Syndrome”
Like the character Frasier not noticing Niles was a famous, multi-published, child psychiatrist.
What they want is a mad scientist. Someone who will get fast results while paying only the vaguest lip-service to scientific methodology.
Fortunately, they live in Shitropolis.
Of course! LP knows a scientist!
Sadly he only saw him once… and that was the last thing he saw…
Not actually… The last thing he saw was a spider…

I think you’ve forgotten that they interact with Kevin, their not-a-hero roommate, all the time. :-P
Also, all major superhero teams have just vanished, so the number of remaining heroes is probably pretty small.
I wonder, though, did the major supervillain teams also vanish?

Is the newsreader who was announcing the disappearances on television assumed to be in the same universe as them?
I think you’ve forgotten his names Keith.
Oh yes! Yes indeed he needs to be in the middle between those two.
When do we get to see some titties?
mr.Sausage has started enforcing a policy where he obscures them with speech balloons. Just for you.
“Oh no! My top just slipped off, as you would be able to see if this giant speech bubble wasn’t covering my chest.” :D
Check out the next strip.
