1191- Too many problems
Hi! I’m going on a vacation, so there won’t be any updates next week. Everything should be back to normal the week after that.
Happy reading!

I like her. Yhis version of BGG I mean. Also, is it just me or does Defendress look seriously badass in the first two panels? Might be the Batman pose.
It’s the cape.
I’m sure there’s potential for a villain with wind powers to deliberately mess with heroes by having their capes and hair blow the wrong way.
Wouldn’t take much. Just imagine the most badass, cape blowing in the wind, Hero moment, then take that wind away so their Heroic figure is framed by a limp cape and flat hair. Could probably get away with it by just putting up an invisible windscreen.
Enjoy the vacation!
Agreed. Take a well-deserved rest.
You could say that about every apocalypse, too
It’s like they going full on conspiracy nuts but backwards. Instead of building a narrative of everything is connected and stacked against them they go with everything is connected to somehow turn out alright.
(Wow, didn’t even see that.) Have a fun vacation! See you when you’re back!
I checked for an update yesterday, but completely forgot about Mr. Sausage’s VK.
Heh, me too, just now.
…I am sorry but does Defendress not realize the whole “Foil one apocalypse only for another to be around the corner” thing is just a fact of life for their reality and timeline? I mean they’re usually handled by people who know what they’re doing instead of by our favorite redundant heroes. But their world is constantly in danger. I mean just telling Laser Pony “Spider” and pointing his head down should vaporize the earth’s core.
Maybe that’s what happened here.
Maybe someone reasoned that to end future apocalypses, they had to let one run its course – and it just happened to be the one that got rid of all the superheroes. And any evidence of them.
I suspect that this apocalypse will somehow come up in a relevant plot way (either in a future story or as part of this one).
That said logically speaking, this variant is a world where superheroes aren’t a thing, wouldn’t the simplest explanation be that this apocalypse was caused by that. Say one of the dime-a-dozen doomsday scenario’s that some super-team foiled in the main world wasn’t foiled here and thus the apocalypse.
A few thoughts have come to me. The event was called “the crossover” and almost all the heroes disappeared when time went weird.
I’ve done my bit, the rest of you can take it from here.
