Don’t think it’s right? Look at how seagulls fly next time you see one go above you. Go either left or right to avoid being right under it… every time it will veer its course to fly right above your head anyway. It wants to be SURE to hit someone if it does crap while flying.
An old Far Side comic has a man washing his car in the driveway. There’s a bird on the phone wire above watching him. The Bird’s thought caption: “You’re mine. All Mine!“
Fulmars (gull like but not closely related to gulls, they are actually petrals) will deliberately vomit an oil from their stomach as a defense. The oil mats the feathers of avian predators, which can be lethal.
The name Fulmar is derived from the Old Norse word fúll meaning foul, and már meaning gull. This foul-gull is in reference to their stomach oil.
Gulls are jerks, but smart ones. I saw a group of gulls lead by a crow raid a family’s beach bag, picking open boxes and bags to get the food inside. The crow was their lookout, he cawed once before the family got back and the rest flew off.
I once saw an x-ray of a gull carcass showing the stupid creature had swallowed a mole ALIVE. The mole preceded to dig it’s way out of the bird, but died on impact after killing the bird in midair. I cried for the mole.
The gulls aren’t the smart ones. The crows are. That crow told the gulls of where food was and how to get it. He stayed to be a look-out because he had already raided other belongings before-hand most likely with his murder and knew his way around the beach well enough to let the gulls in on the secret so they’d stop killing and eating the crow young. It’s easier for them to work things out that way than for the murder to attempt to take on the gull flock and potentially lose to the larger birds. A murder may be able to kill a few gulls but not a whole flock of them.
A seagull pooped me right in the head once. I dont think it was with malicious intent, he was just taking care of bussiness the seagull way.
The Moral of the Story: Seagulls are fundamentally evil.
Why dicks?
Maybe it’s just their vision of good deeds.
And this seagull is a seagull saint.
I agree with this comic 100%.

Sometimes I just wish it was legal to hunt seagulls with a crossbow.
@Drakkenmensch
Don’t forget they take our shiny things, which from personal experience, includes money.
@Javajunkie
Yeah, I’d love to hunt seagulls too and place their heads on a mantelpiece over my fireplace.

Yikes! Even Gyrognome was affected, even a little, by the Gloria. Seagulls are far more evil than I ever imagined.

Flying rats, the lot of them.
Wait… I thought it only returned after somebody charged it up…
