And considering that his radioactive blood was a preexisting condition, which also put him at risk for further health complications down the line, his medical bills have got to be through the roof.
No, it just means that his insurance won’t cover it, unless he can prove that this injury was unrelated, which he can’t, because he wouldn’t have been superheroing without it. The bill will be the same, but he’ll be paying all of it instead of just the deductible.
Do Mr. Dr.’s powers work through missing limbs? It seems like it would be wise to start taking his arms away, since they could be used for free healing and he could just regrow them. Obviously, since he’s an asshole, he would not consent to that, but his powers aren’t exactly useful for preventing others from forcing him to do things.
Reminds me of Sean McMullen’s novel “Voyage of the Shadowmoon”. The story focuses around an ancient artifact that heals a person and then creates a series of explosions that can burn down an entire continent. One of the heroes is a vampire, and he tries to steal that artifact by mortally wounding himself(it won’t kill him – he is already dead) and luring the villain to heal him with the artifact(the villain needs to heal someone to use the other, less humanitarian function of the artifact). What the hero has failed to foresee is the artifact resurrecting him ridding him of all his vampire powers…
Quite ironic, reminds me of nostalgic critic’s commentary on the daredevil movie mocking the idea that daredevil was hindered by blindness when he can clearly see and even better then any normal man as a result of the tragedy.

If only Radioactive Idiot had been a little smarter, he might’ve removed the poison dart before getting Mr Dr to cure him.
Now he’s not radioactive, and the poison dart is still in him, and it looks like it still has some potency.
Don’t worry all the poison has been injected already…. the green stuff in the needle is just tinting… right?
Nope, no green splotches around the wound any more. Poison deactivated.
He can get powers back in short order too. This is Shitropolis.
But then he will most likely be Mr. Dr.’s arch nemesis.

Heh…. it made his junk get smaller.
Oh, poor guy. I didn’t notice that. I would definitely be wanting a re-do.
