i hope he never reaches level 20 or else he’ll get a 100% poison immunity ans stop being able to drunk-punch things out of existence
…
i’m referencing DnD here since drunken master was a monk class and alcohol was classified as a poison with monks gaining a permanent 100% poison immunity at lvl 20 effectively making a drunken master monk into a bog standard unclassed lvl 1 monk with an ultimate poison immunity but a character sheet showing lvl 20 and apocalyptic abilities that require alcohol top fuel
“Somebody has manage to kill themself with water, after all.”
Yeah, that’s called “drowning.”
Seriously though, people have been reported as getting so drunk that they slip into a coma & DIE. I figure the lvl 20 Monk couldn’t drink so much as to die from it (or even pass out), but still be drunk enough to make best use of their fighting skills.
No, it’s called water intoxication. Very different phenomenon on almost every level besides the fact that both involve water entering your body and harming you. Look it up.
And here I’d thought that maybe Keith’s superpower was the ability to always get away with being a complete bum.
He’s still getting away with it, isn’t he?
He is the Drunken Master: somehow totally sloshed but his higher brain functions still work well enough to know that he can’t handle himself.
Usually drunk makes the person feel perfectly alright and ready to take on the world. Hancock comes to mind.

They get immune to the Poisionous effects of Alkohol. They still can use it as fuel.
I mean we normal humans are immune to the effects of water, iron and salt in our blood*. Yet we still can use the blood to do it’s job.
*Non-insane dosages asumed. Somebody has manage to kill themself with water, after all.

You can also die from breathing too much air. They call that oxygen poisoning.
Actually, being honest about his current status is the best (read: “the only”) thing he can do right now.
Well played Keith, well played.
Let’s not forget that Keith has a pure heart.
100% pure alcohol heart!
and back to the old Keith we know and love.
