Thanks google translate.
Four years of Latin gets the job done, too.
Or hell, one year of Latin. Most of that was first-year vocabulary.
Or a few years of Spanish + cognitives.
Thanks, dude. Was wondering what they were saying but was feeling too lazy to look it up.
Before I looked it up. I was wondering what Cruella De Vil had to do with it.
My thoughts exactly :)
So is the pre Evil Deviel for this lawyer? INSPIRATION
Please don’t tell we’ll have a competent blind hero in this xD
I think this is basically the origin of their Daredevil knockoff. He’s taking in all of this as inspiration for what is going to be his hero persona.
Right. But this is the Redundant Universe, so I’m betting on blind and sorta incompetent.
Doubt it. It’s just Lazer Pony
And Evil Savant, the finger (the guy with the glowing ring, last strip… maybe), Flying Fox Man and his Inappropriately Dressed Pre-Pubescent Sidekick, and Sarcasmo for the most part, though they have their moments. These folks tend to be incompetent.
I don’t think Flying Fox Man’s female sidekick is pre-pubescent. She looked more like 13 or 14. The many Dodos seem to be little kids, though.
I think he meant Dodo as “his Inappropriately Dressed Pre-Pubescent Sidekick” since he has a painted on his chest.
Dude! That comment was mine. Forgot to log in first.
“Inappropriately-dressed” would apply better to the tween-girl sidekick who’s out fighting crime in a belly-baring outfit and a navel ring. Reminds me of a war-game I played which had a character who wore a set of boob-plate, in her first incarnation, which has her dressed in full plate from head to toe, except for her entire abdomen which is left bare.
The second edition of her had stitches going all the way around her waist, where they had to sew her halves back together before reanimating her as a lich, after what happened to her in the big battle between seasons 1 and 2 of the game.
Anyway, the bullseye on Dodo’s chest is quite appropriate really, if you think about it.
Only LP, the LOSRs, and their nemisis are show to be incompetent. The rest have humorous moments but actually are effective and know what they are doing.
Inspiration? That hooded cabal is meeting right as the blind lawyer is outside.
The events of the court case. Everything we’ve seen up to this point, in this arc. Obviously, he doesn’t know what the cultists are doing, yet.
We had lot’s of Blind and compontent Lazer Stallions in this comic already – one was even in a wheelchair. Back in the Cosmuz arc.
So, umm, where’s the punchline?
I think that with this, Mr Sausage has cast aside ALL pretences of consistently doing comedy strips, and this time solely goes for the story.
Which really isn’t really bad at all.
I’m looking forward to what he’ll do now.
Yeah, he just usually blends more consistent punchlines as we go along the story progression. This arc has been a lot more straight than usual.
It’s in there…somewhere……..
It’s a one candle ritual. They are looking for a discount entity or cheap knowledge for under a dollar.
Or summoning one trivial entity and getting another trivial entity for free. I hope they have a coupon.
However, for the rest of it, sometimes you just gotta monologue exposition.
Wait… are we actually getting story arc?
Sausage works almost completely in story arcs.
Story arcs have been done before in the comic. The Laser Pony/Stallions story arc comes mind for instance.
Or the one with the witch that comes from time to time to constantly annoy Buckaress.
So this is how Metalheads feel, huh…?
Nah, they’re mostly in it for the sex, drugs, and music. The Satan worship and child sacrifice is almost incidental for them, where as these guys seem to be focusing more on that part.
I waiting for other religions to bring suit against horns for claiming to represent them.
Oh plot time!
On another point the guy with the bow tie looks a bit like the usual depictions of Watson. Intentional? Coincidence? Or ALIENS?
Nelson, Watson, what’s the dif?
I knew it! Jawas!
No. Please no. This has been the series’ worst arc. None of it makes any sense. None of it was funny Just the same old, “Religion is bad and religious people are bad”. And now you’re promising a continuation? After all the development Eve got, I was looking forward to arcs exploring the other characters. But this hasn’t done any of that. GG barely got to say anything, much less do anything herself. We got two lawyers with no development, a judge who’s an asshole, and a demonic lawyer who speaks for every religion in the world because evidently they’re all single-minded, stupid, and evil. Please, do something else. Do anything else.
Right with you there, man. I don’t think that the message was “Religious people are bad,” as much as it was “Religion is bad and can be used to manipulate people, as a tool of the power-hungry.”
… which I agree with. Still not a great story arc, though.
