Not Good Girl in a bikini, but, it will do.
I thought we were hoping for Bad Good Girl in a bikini?
Both I am fine with!
We can still hope, but in the meantime I’m not complaining.
That was strange…
I just remember Gyrognome perving on Good Girl, and then Mary Sue backhanding Asstronomous across the room. Put the two together and…
Ah, there she is.
Don’t you hate when diminutive muscular men spoil your fun in the water, like this?
Woho! Here they are again, continuity issues between the last pages!
After a while, I thought it was given the consecutive pages weren’t a consecutive time sequence.
Just off the top, Buck-n-Alex versus DHW is inter-cut with a “calling all heroes” event on a different day/week.
Obviously they took a morning swim, went home, had a barbecue and then went back to the beach. Obviously. There are no continuity issues here. Move along.
So, where’s Alex in all of this? We’ve never gotten to see her in anything particularly skimpy.
We have seen her in particularly skimpy things before.
In fact, that was her costume pre-upgrade.
Oh, wait, that was Buckaress.
Heh, yeah. I was going to say, before you corrected yourself. Alex’s dress on the first date and her robe the morning after the first time she slept with Eva weren’t THAT skimpy. Fairly tastefully revealing.
*nose completely following the waving hand…
Err, you realize that Sausage did page 569, right? When they alternate like this, one writer’s strips will often be from different scenes than the other’s.
You don’t really think that in the 30 or 40 page arcs, the characters in the arc ran home to be in any stand-alone strips, right?
I do, I made this comment as a joke since they the authors themselves made it a topic during the Buckaress dating/training event. I thought that was obvious^-^
Ah. I missed the comment section in that period.
I just treat it as being like when a character appears in multiple books (e.g. Superman in Action Comics and Superman; Batman in Detective Comics and Batman; Spider-man in The Amazing Spider-Man and Spectacular Spider-Man, etc.). An arc doesn’t necessarily have to span the books, each book could have its own self-contained arc.
To further this analogy, Dork’s strips are more the main character Superman/Batman type, while Sausage’s are more the anthology Action Comics/Detective Comics type. Recent strips, anyway.
Hell, I remember a period when there were at least five concurrent Spider-Man titles, none even focusing on the same period of his life.
Or wolverine in 12 or so titles not even related to mutants
Until they started doing crossovers
Yeah, that one crossover in which Peter Parker met Spider-man was pretty weird.
And there we go. What everyone has been waiting for.
… no, not Gyrognome jumping out of the water.
…wearing a cod piece on his mouth…
You gotta admit, the Gyrognome has to have a lot of balls to do that.
Well, for starters, he has both LP’s and Keith’s…
I cod imagine.
Okay, so what I was saying on the last page about the sort of bickering on here being a source of good puns? That … wasn’t it. :-P
Good puns? Nope. That is just a real fishy red herring.
He got you there, Hook, line, and sinker!
Did you really thought I could resist the fish puns? For trout?
I know some of them are carp…

Something is seriously wrong.
Give it time for the rest of the peanut gallery to show up and read this strip.
Betting seriously wrong.
Hey, I can hope. Who knows; it might inspire Dork to extend this arc a bit.
Let’s see if next strip features beautiful blonde in bikinis on the beach WITH Chili.
Texan Vs Gyrognome
That’s because many people have bizarre and misguided ideas about beans in chili. The virtues of attractive women in bikinis, by contrast, are a source of near-universal agreement. You need a little controversy for a truly great comment-storm.
What’s there to debate about a beautiful blond in a bikini? Chili with or without beans on the other hand….
That’s a definite point, yeah.
Hey, is this the summer swimsuit special parody?
At this point you have to wonder if the source of Gyrognome’s power is terrorizing other people, or if that’s just what he does for fun. I used to think it was just his version of entertainment now that he’s retired, but he’s so relentless at it that I think there’s probably more to it.
Also, is it just Laser Pony and Mary Sue? A beach scene is the perfect opportunity to show Good Girl’s interpretation of appropriate beach wear.
This is a continuation of page 568. Good Girl was in the water in that one, and the rest of the people in the house might be somewhere around and about, too.
As I recall, being a jerk is a common trait of normal gnomes.
Remember when they used him to recharge the halo? He simply had to refrain from hurting anybody (physically or verbally) and that counted as good behavior for gnomes.
As in “Gnot being Gnaughty Gnome.”
It’s official. Even SHE is afraid of him.
Not really afraid, as much as creeped out.
isn’t she at least Supergirl class of powerset?
Sure, but I don’t think she was really afraid of being harmed or whatever.
