It’s a riff on Wolverine and how, for a few years actually, he was in the X-Men and the Avengers at the same time, and guested in a bunch of books. Despite the fact that some of their story lines should’ve made that impossible.
Not to mention the period when he were in 3-4 X – titles at the same time …. And they even started it up with him, in-comic, saying something like that there were no way he could be in three teams at the same time …. ^_^
Oh, that. One was a temporal echo, the other was a from another universe, the third was the roommate of his cousin’s gynecologist’s doppelganger, the fourth was merely a side way dimensional slip, the last was the product of bad writing.
Unless hating on that writer is in at the time. No, the last one was simultaneously someone’s dream, a quantum twin that will cause one of the others to disappear if you pay attention to him, and a false story fed to a girl at a pub.
My favorite was a “What the!?” story where they explained that the real reason for his “Patch” disguise was that he was so busy appearing in so many different comic that he could only sleep with one eye at a time.
I remember seeing a short comic that played on this notion. I think Professor X had just died and that sent Wolverine off the deep end. Suddenly, he was attacking or being attacked by one supervillain after another, six days a week. (He took the seventh day off to meditate.) Almost every time, he was fighting alongside some superhero. Some of them said, “Are we teaming up? I love when we team up!” Wolverine’s response was generally “Shut up.”
..I’m sorry, what? I was distracted by that shadow of someone on the last panel that appear to be flashing the goods. That or just a misconstrued shadow of something else.
Badger claw could be the kind of hero that unconsciously slips between places and even parallel universes, if he’s gone in the next frame inexpicable it’s because he’s suddenly on the next issue doing something else.
(has there been a character like that in comics btw)
I remember a piece of funny animation from years ago where Prof. X set three X-men teams… and Wolverine being on all three of them. The poor sod had to run to make it to all the action, appearing winded just as they took on the bad guy, just to run again for the next team and next crisis minutes after… XD
I’m confused.

Or alive depending on what series

Wait, only the last was bad writing??
It’s a superhero comic. We’re willing to forgive A LOT before calling bad writing.

In the next panel, you find out Badgerclaw has been dating both of them…
I’m only commenting to note that I wish I could simply “like” or upvote or whatever your comment.
…
I LIKE YOUR COMMENT!
I concur with the upvote. That would have been a good added punchline.
Yep, that’s diligence all right…
Well, he’s the best at what he does, after all…
its a play on how many super teams a single hero can be on,
wolverine is usually on 2-5 teams,(avengers, xman, etc)
Not to mention being in an informal team along with Spider-dude, Flaming Skull and The Bulk.
No wonder he didn’t have time to raise his children.
Clones man, they are everywhere.
Regeneration cloning, every time a significant piece is cut off . . ..
Nah, DC did that with Lobe, remember? At least all of the cones shared something more than DNA with the original…They were all jerks.
;)
You’re wrong. They were all bastitches!

What can be seen cannot be unseen!
I think that was more of a greek style very wide shoulder armor than a flasher… unless it was Aphrodite- then all bets are off

Do webcomics count? Because Omnipresent Man does come pretty close to that. (His ability is being everywhere at all times).
Shades of Jenny Everywhere. =)
It is surely nice that they are having a nice meeting and not trying to kill each other.
Of course she works in outer space. She’s a member of the Federation after all…
But is she the real item or her dark version?
He’s currently in a secret mission with mushroom stalk and snake fang.

House of M on newgrounds?
They also parodied it in 8-bit Theater with Fighter setting up 4 teams and not only was he on all of them one team he WAS everyone.
Badger claw? Is that the name of this hero? http://superredundant.com/?comic=261-sniktbub
That two teamer!
It’s tough being on nine teams when you’re the loner archetype
Alternately, the former is a natural consequence of the latter: “Sorry babe, got 7 other places to be”
