It looks like he was standing at the counter or something. There’s no chair-back behind him in the kitchen-scene panels. There’s just the backpack and nothing behind that.
I assume that the backpack is there for some narrative reason, in the upcoming story arc.
Hopefully we’ll have some fantastic space-opera adventure, like we did with the Laser Stallion arc. If anything, that arc could have been a lot longer, as opposed to the religion-lawsuit arc, which could have been much shorter.
Still, you make the arc the length of the material that you have. If you really love a story, as the writer, so you stretch 10 pages worth of material into 25 or 30 … it never works out well.
Possible. Novels/comics/whatever should be considered living documents, until the author dies. There are a few authors who have greatly revised, rewritten, and added to works long after they’re published.
Stephen King is the first that comes to mind. He issued a great big fuck-you to the publishers that dared to cut the original edition of The Stand down to around 750 pages, when the full 1,152-page version was released. The first book in the Dark Tower series was also much longer, when it was re-released for the 5th through 8th books in the series finally being written.
Both books were greatly improved by the additional material, in my opinion.
Web comic artists should also be able to go back in and say, “Here’s this chunk, only I’ve inserted 5 new pages into the continuum, since I’ve thought of new stuff since then. Go re-read it.”
Yup. Different teleporters have different feel. Quantum tunneling teleportation feels a lot different from Psi or magical. Plus the special effects are different.
Smooth.
And no probes.
Oooh, I bet it’s been all that alien probing that’s made his laser eyes more and more powerful.
Well, since anyone would get their eyes open wide when they are probed…
Laser Pony uses Super Apathy! It is Very Effective.
Well, now we know the power that made the Laser Stallions some of the mightiest heroes in the multiverse.
Potential enough to be a ground based deference laser.
Hey, Narf, welcome back!
Just had a couple of busy weeks.
Cool.
Narf missed your insights man.
I got a new prescription for my glasses, which should correct that.
To be fair, he’s also dating Mary Sue. Have to figure, if it gets to bad, she’ll be there to save him :)
You’re such a prude Laser pony.
Was he already standing up, or did the teleporter change his stance?

Thats his saddle, an integrated part of his superhero costume and not just some leftover from his midnight playtime with Mary-Sue :-)
Why can’t it be both?
Ohhhhhhhhhhh. Yeah, I forgot about that. Do the artists sometimes forget to draw that in? I don’t remember it always being so prominent.
And wait until I’ve finished my coffee. Unless you want a hole in the ship
We’re in space
I’ll still be satisfied
Says anyone while drinking coffee…
Or hell, the 15 minutes after I finish the first mug is the same, before my body starts processing the stuff.
He’s fine with getting abducted by aliens, but mention spiders around him and he freaks out.
then the day comes when he gets abducted by spider aliens…
The day somebody TELLS him he’s been abducted by spider aliens…
“Today in news about random events in space. A bright explosion near pluto was seen from an observatory in..”
*papers are handed over*
“Was seen by One-eyed charley on the street corner of east and main”
“In other news. A half gutted spaceship crashed on a local beach. LazerPony was seen staggering out. He immediately bought coffee”
I hope there will be no Earl Grey problem on the captain’s ship.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
It is amazing what people can get use to….
Anyone else half hope they decide to “reward” him with something so he can actually aim. though that would probably break the comic…

Awsome mix volume 1?

How did he know it was aliens that teleported him? Lots of other people have teleporters.
You get to a point where you just recognize the trend. LP isn’t necessarily stupid, just incompetent.
Yup. Different teleporters have different feel. Quantum tunneling teleportation feels a lot different from Psi or magical. Plus the special effects are different.
Human teleporters go “fweeeeeEEEEEEEM” and alien teleporters go “doi-oing”. And they say Star Trek never taught me anything useful.
Drat. He’s a pterodactyl again.
You’re turning into a penguin. Stop it.
was he standing before being teleported?
Plus he had no idea he teleported until the alien said so. He probably just felt a slight tingle and that was all.
