I’ve always maintained that BGG isn’t actually bad, just repressed, forced to do really good stuff all the time, so acts out when she’s in control. If she was BGG all the time, this is probably how she would act eventually.
I wonder what about positive feelings – do they share them, too?
Should totally go to the bedroom and do some 69ing – strictly for the science, of course.
Reminds me of that one STOS episode where Kirk gets split into two Kirks due to a transporter malfunction. One was aggressive and the other lobotomized. So it appears we have two good girls as couch potatos.
I always was a bit annoyed when they described it as Kirk being split between his good and evil sides but was really between his Id and Super-Ego (the Ego apparently being a product of the two), without his Id to drive him his Super-Ego had no drive of its own as it spent its time guiding the Id. So the longer they were separate the worse things got for both of them.
So whatever RPG Engine this world plays on, it has a Willpower stat. And GG’s Will Stat is divided in half.
I would assume that the spare Willpower is contained in the Gloria, since GG’s personality changes completely when it’s removed. So since GG underwent a power-up recently, the two current GG’s are at the same power level the original was back in Strip 1. And the Gloria also has less power to make GG go all Stepford-Wifey.
To be honest, that was the creepiest power of the Gloria, to turn a punk bitch into some 1960’s “Ozzie And Harriet” blonde. Really fuzzed the boundary between Good and Evil.
sigh.
I’m definitely a man into females,… every witty comment that came to mind was waist deep in the gutter over the last three days here.
I find it hard to not imagine palming Buckaress or offering to test the parameters of both good girls in a private setting.
Sigh again.
Just a thought … would taking the Gloria from one and giving it to the other create a permanent Good Girl and a permanent Bad Good Girl? GG would finally be able to battle her arch-nemesis!
I like the “Gloria’s power divided in half” theory, as opposed to willpower or other stat. I think what we are seeing now is Nicky’s true self, pretty much what she would be without the Gloria.
Side discussion: In the truest sense, Charisma is “force of personality” and “the ability to command loyalty”, not physical appearance (if you really need a separate stat for that, use Comeliness). In the real world, just about any brutal-yet-popular dictator you care to name has/had Charisma but lacks/lacked Comeliness. In fiction/roleplay, its frankly almost meaningless to rate beauty, because the default is “improbably photogenic”. Unless it is something that the character can actually wield, like the old “Striking Appearance” advantage in Top Secret, or if you go the other way by intent (usually as Signamancy for villany).
So now she’s just… Girl…
Apathy Girl.
a.k.a. Keith Girl.
Correction Keith Girls…plural.
Was just following currypan’s line of thought.
Btw, I wonder what’s happening to Keith meanwhile.
(Nothing in particular, probably. Just watching tv with one half of his brain and enjoying the view with the other half.)
If the halo split in half, maybe it’s only at half power now for each of them?
if that is true then does that mean that when it switches off she will be only half as evil or twice as evil

Neutral Good girls.

Does this mean she will finally be free of that horrific thought prison?

What made me cringe was how terrible an actor Shatner was in that episode. Not that he was much better in a lot of others.
Reminded me of that Ren & Stimpy episode wher Stimpy splits Ren into “Apathy Ren” and “Evil Ren”, as Ren doesn’t have a good side.

Oooorrr instead of it being a stat, or a numerical representation of a real concept, each one simply has half the willpower.
But yeah, her entire existence is meant to be a secret horror show of morality and free will.
Can’t be: the charisma stat seems undivided. ^^
sigh.

I miss Bolfman_234 too.
great now we have indifferent girl
Nailed it!
It’s obvious that the doppelganger technique would just make her weaker, her Love has been divided 2!
TV? Are they turning into Gilmore Girls?
Just a thought … would taking the Gloria from one and giving it to the other create a permanent Good Girl and a permanent Bad Good Girl? GG would finally be able to battle her arch-nemesis!
This can’t not happen while an opportunity exists
