yeah that’s implied. and this would be the time in a major comic where someone like Batman would be suspicious. but since this is a comedy comic, its time for the A listers to goof off.
After obviously. They have to fight first to determine they’re, “evenly matched” and THEN the world ending-level supervillain shows up so they can put their differences behind them to team up to defeat it.
swerve- it was the villains who had been on vacation but will be returning just in time for the heroes to start theirs and thus have it ruined per proper superhero protocol.
A planet covered in super powered loons who fight each other seemingly for fun (from an outside perspective) who then team up together against external threats. Funny how seldom big name comics bring this up, Marvel has a few times; one old even had the Shi’ar point out that Earth had rebuked Galactus like five times at that point and even had someone on Earth considered his friend.
Shore leave!
How else are the spunky child heroes going to get any world saving experience if you geezers are always on the job?
Hmm, are they staying away becouse of the Two Neutral God Girls situation?
OOOOH!

$20 says they run into the “world ending-level” super villains out on the beach
Is that before or after they run into another superhero team and have the obligatory introductory fight?

That’s how you expand toy-lines.

Nah, NGG has the power of Apathy! The super villains will just chill or go on vacation I’m thinking.
The heroes will only realize it when they remember their vacation house is a time share WITH said villains.
I’d expect them to have just a good time with each other.

That is, as long as the hotel is spider-free …
Hiding out till the heroes get bored, which was what Shadyside and Thanops were counting on. Begin the counterattack!
(I am terrible with parody names)
Ronald the Seducer is busying himself somewhere in the Squee Empire.
I wonder if this is a setup for the LOSRH being not so redundant for once.
(Or rather that the problem would have solved itself if it wasn’t for the LOSRH’s intervention.)
Or they are going to face redundant villains.

DC’s had the Dominators conduct attacks upon the Earth for having an aggressively high meta population at least 3 times to my knowledge.
