I think his frustration is usually kept in check by having someone around who will unfairly beat him up for complaining, like Gyrognome or Bad Good Girl.
Come to think on it, they all left because GGG overheard BGG making threats due to a lack of privacy. However, although they all left, not all of them left, i.e. Keith is still around. Does this defeat the original purpose of the trip?
Keith not only works (so he’s guaranteed to be out of the house for a certain number of hours of the day), but is also smart enough to keep a healthy distance between himself and BGG at all times.
Besides, all he does at home is watch tv, and not even with the volume that loud. He might as well not be there at all.
Keith is part of the furniture, and ,as shown in the Hexagon arc, as long as there’s an internet connection*, he’s not a problem.
*you’ll think there needs to be a good stock of beer, but with an internet connection, he can order more beer when stocks get low. Problem circumvented! Until LP’s disability cheques run out, anyway.
Completely lost, in the middle of nowhere, with no civilization in sight?
Sounds like LP’s seeing-eye dog should wander in at any moment!
Listening for a nearby civilization might be optional, it could be juuuust out of frame, 30 feet to the right.
Is that a good or a bad thing?
Need to burn off some fog? Simply duck down and say, “We’re caught in a spider’s web!”
That would be useful if LP lasers worked as a reliable heat source, but remember what happened last time:

Is Lp getting grumpier in this trek?
I think the responsibility of being the Only Sane Man is getting to him
I think his frustration is usually kept in check by having someone around who will unfairly beat him up for complaining, like Gyrognome or Bad Good Girl.
it takes real talent to pull that off
They say every dog has his day. What’s the opposite of that? Because seriously, this day has been bad even by Laser Pony’s standards.
How about:
“Every dog still has its day, it’s just that who/what you thought would be the dog, wasn’t.”
You know things are bad when LP of all people is the sane man
They’re lost and it’ll all be up to evil Good Girl and Keith to same day. Um….wait…..
“..to save the day.” I mean.
Cue “Silent Hill” OST music….
