This will have to be the last strip for a week or so, because of too many school deadlines coming up and there isn’t enough hours in a day.
I did have a buffer of strips, but sadly my thesis ate all free time, even weekends for the last three weeks or so.
Anyway… The next strip should be posted on June 3rd barring any unforseen issues.
Happy reading.
I’m thinking the “Original creator” is the Evil Queen, who will be the witch school, er… friend? I know I said that before but it’s looking more likely now that the “creator” of these characters is powerful and doesn’t’ like them appearing competent. And we’ve not seen her about for a while that I’ve forgotten her name, so has potential time to have established herself here as a powerful witch-queen! :p
Yeah, that one.
I just wonder if that was clairvoyance or if these two had their own counterparts in this world.
It is starting to look more like that, isn’t it? That or Distracterella, those two are the ones who really dislike her. Maybe Distracterella is more likely actually, the three of them (Eva, Alex, and Josie) seemed to have made things up somewhat after the thing with the mummy ninjas.
I have a theory. Gyrognome is the original creator. He knows how to get to this world and more importantly, back.
Typo in panel 2: “chake” should probably be “shake”.
No! It cannot be! This must obviously be an entirely deliberate combination of “change” and “shake”, producing another detestable and unnecessary combined word for everyone to hate.
I’ve been following this strip ever since gods know when. It’s been entertaining for as long as I can remember; however, it’s a toss up as to which is more entertaining as of now – the actual comic or the rash of comments by readers trying to second guess the strips creator. This is probably the only comic strip where I am as anxious for the next installment as I am for the comments it will engender. Love you all!
I have a theory: it could be bunnies!
But seriously, the only thing we know about the writer is that they know the LOSRHs well enough to imitate their look and that they consider the idea that Buckaress would do something competent ‘heresy’. The Desperate Housewitch is kinda obsessed with Bucky and she might very well know about that strange ‘stonehenge’ and know how to use it.
Can’t think of anyone who is obsessed with Buckaress and has the power to do something like this. That demon guy would probably have the power, but he was killed, and anyway, he would have a bone to pick with Good Girl and Bad Good Girl, not with Buckaress.
Evelyne is alt-Eva? That makes sense.
And the original creator is…? This comic originally had four authors, in order of appearance: Mr. Dork, Sir Walrus, Mr. Sausage and Sire HappyPants.
It seems that the statement about Buckaress being so utterly clumsy is in strip #43 (by Mr. Dork). The first appearance of Eva is in strip #41 (by Sir Walrus) but the first appearance of Buckaress as such in uniform (undercover agent for the evil guys) is in strip #42 (by Mr. Dork), so my guess is that the original creator is Mr. Dork and that there is some behind-the-scenes skirmishes between the authors that are being implicit in this dialogue.
I still have to find when does Buckaress do something efficient though. Then we will know who ended up as “sewage worker” and why.
Ok, it must be strip #285: “green and purple, really?” That or I’ve been searching for clues too long (having a good re-laugh, I lament nothing).
Maybe it is a throwback to the past creators of LOSRH?
Hmmm… Josie the Witch’s last name was ‘Perkins’, not ‘Williams’… maybe it’s her husband’s name?
