This feels like an homage to the Tick’s Crusading Chameleon and Die Fledermaus, but maybe I am projecting. :)
I saw the Tick influence, too, but I do pick up on the fact that it’s “a” Spider-Man and “a” Batman…not “the” Spider-Man and “the” Batman.
As for the poor schmuck with the stubbed pinky-toes…may all of our sympathy find its way to him!

In the last Panel, is “Spiderman’s” speech bubble got two tails for a specific reason, or is like that for emphasis?
I just realized that’s a saddle on LP, not a backpack. I guess he’s styled after a rocking horse rather than an actual pony.
